*Note: Sorry for poor quality, the Sony HD professional camera is out for repair*
Just before 16:30 Allentown Comm Center transmitted a box for 731 Clay St. for a house fire. Responding on the box Engines 4, 9, 6, Truck 2 & B/C 1 (Shott). B/C 1 reported a 2-story twin with smoke showing and after investigating signaled a working fire. Crews stretched a 1.75" line to the basement where they encountered fire. As the fire extended vertically, B/C 1 struck the 2nd Alarm bringing in Engines 14, 13, Air 1, car's 40,41,47 & 48.
Crews stretched another 1.75" line to the rear to attack fire extending upwards outside rear. Soon, fire extended horizontally to exposure 'B' and crews had to stretch their 3rd line into that exposure.
