I wonder what will happen if you someday run out of soap, and that bird is sitting there looking at you while in the shower or whatever...

@TheChristy44 really? you're asking that? IS SOAP REALLY HARD TO CARVE????? wow think about it about 13.5% of retarded people in the world you're one of them..
Man! You dunno how your video helped me! I have this art project due next month and i have no idea how to make anything out of a soap. Thanks man! Peace out. I'm thinking if i can carve a bible or a bird! Geez.

@bukopieultra thank you, you're very kind. I wish you luck in your project. I'm putting up another soap carving video today, it might be easier and more fun than this one. It's going to be a turtle carved out of irish spring soap, which kind of looks like jade. My camera, my computer and my eyes are crapping out on me. Editing the video is the hardest part. Thanks again.

I'm doing soap carving in college right now. We have to do 3: mechanical, organic, and a combination of both. The pieces break off when I"m working with them and it's so frustrating. D: I don't like the tools my prof has because they're all wrong. I found this little exacto-knife thin g is working the best for me right now.

I like the exacto-knife best the 20 degrees blade like in this video is thin and doesn't split soap or wood to much. For finer work and detail I take apart a safety razor and put the blade in the exacto-knife handle. I all so use a cut off scroll saw blade in the handle for sawing small stuff The best carving tools seem to be home maid. Thank You for watching my video :)
