  • Can you connect the ipad without using the wifi? For using it on stage it'd be problematic otherwise.. Thanks!

  • @0Jebus0 It's not problematic at all. I never had a problem with this. You have to create an ad-hoc secure wifi network on your computer and connect the iPad into it. That's it.

  • @evenfloyd care to share you mapping :D?!?!? for both

  • @elixer6x6x6 You don't have this touchOSC template, it will be useless for you.

And mapping for the drums in Ableton (if you have your own Launchpad) are quite easy:

Create a drumrack: go to user 1 and play. If you want the Led feedback: create a midi channel / in the midi channel - midi from: your drummrack - midi to: Launchpad.

    That's it.

  • Hey very nice vid.

Can U make a Tutorial how you can combine the launchpad with the ipad app, and record everything? Or can you give me a link where i can learn this? Or anybody else?

    Thanks for your response.

    Cheers

  • @TheSeriusly There are plenty of tutorials here on youtube. Make sure to look for things like: TouchOSC, OSCulator, Ableton drums mapping launchpad, launchpad led feedback, and so on.

  • This is great. Do you use auto quantize while recording or are you robotically perfect with your fingerdrumming?

  • @0Jebus0 ya man your wireless card can make its own network...any os can do it

  • @SoundGauge you create an adhoc network on your laptop and you connect your ipad to the laptop through that

  • @evenfloyd Yeah, @0Jebus0 has the same problem i have. When performing live how would you connect the ipad to the laptop. Considering you probably won't have wifi!?
