Then she didn't eat a vegan burrito. On the restaurants web site it list their beans as having 5mg of cholesterol per serving.

The first thing I check on a box or package is the cholesterol rating-if it says 0.0 % then I will read on, if not, I put it back. The only way you can have cholesterol in any product is from animals. I once bought a "vegan cheese" in my early days, and soon after realized it had casein (dairy product) in it. Just what I was trying to avoid. It's not good to look for fake "meat / flesh". it is still processed. Eat grains, starch, fruit and veg - nuts and seeds. You will never go hungry.

If anything says it contains cholesterol, it has an animal product in it. It could be egg or dairy, whatever, but it can't be considered vegan.
-
Only if they are cooked in animal fat.

Not very bright...are ya?
-
If soybeans are 100% organic then they don't have animal bi products fuckhead.
-
Do you even know the definition of vegan?
-
Calling it vegan doesn't make it so....fuck head.

Black beans are a very good source of cholesterol-lowering fiber, as are most other legumes. In addition to lowering cholesterol, black beans' high fiber content prevents blood sugar levels from rising too rapidly after a meal, making these beans an especially good choice for individuals with diabetes, insulin resistance or hypoglycemia. When combined with whole grains such as brown rice, black beans provide virtually fat-free high quality protein.

As soy milk is manufactured with whole soybeans with no additional fat added, it is also qualified for the health claim. A heart health claim will appear on soy milk or other qualified soy products.
