The 12:00 crew finishes their upper body workout with 30-second sets of gymnastic ring push-ups. This is an INCREDIBLE exercise for improving shoulder stability, rotator cuff strength and true core stability!!
The added bonus is the SICK PUMP it creates as well...

And YES, we listen to Techno music at the end of our Saturday workouts!!

  • I just don't understand the benefit of doing these for ARAP for time. Won't help you get bigger or stronger and will probably jack your cortisol levels and break muscle down.

You mean the Rob Cordry/Dana White looking feller? Isn't it funny how there is *always* one of those guys in any football crew?

In any case, does anyone know where to get rings that don't cost $50 or how to hack some? Tx.

  • @P4T1L33 pink Floyd i think

  • you can make em yourself. I think DIY has a instructional article online. Very easy, 10$ to make.

  • What is that song its driving me nuts not knowing what it is :p

  • Constructive criticism...

The exercise is MUCH easier from a stability point of view when not locking out as the lever length remains short.

A way to ensure athletes follow through with their reps is to count the reps (or give them "no rep" if they don't extend). The purpose of the exercise should also be clearly explained so they understand WHY they are going to full extension.
