not to criticize ryan, i love his triangle and i look up to him, but i dont think its a good idea to teach kids so young, these advanced, inverted guard n stuff...cuz this is going to be their natural reaction when they get in a fight (im assuming they may) and i dont think its very effective, however it is very effective in sport jiujitsu

This is sport Jiujitsu. It's nothing to do with protecting yourself in a real fight.
It's a neat entrance to a triangle, though.

In Sudbury Ma. at a seminar Ryan did for the AGC. Ronan asked a question and was rewarded with a short private lesson.
