@Mooseshagger1 Of course, the great thing about the 1970s was that there was no such thing as the "Fashion Police", or the "Thought Police" for that matter, like there is now; no one gave a monkeys in those days. That's why the 70s was such great fun and nowadays is so lame...

Dig the Host! Growing up in the States in the 70's we thought everyone in England was cool. If only we had seen this show, we would have been disabused of that notion. This Blackburn dude looks like one of the elder Osmond Brothers, crossed with a beaver.

They're not the wives of the band. They were a backing group called Thunderthighs who went on to have a small hit themselves in 1974 with 'Central Park Arrest'
