On April 23, 2010 Shepard Fairey and his crew covered the side of Awesome Dudes Printing (South Philadelphia) with the iconic images of Fairey's OBEY campaign. Shepard is out east for a few weeks with his crew, preparing for his May 1st show at Deitch Projects in New York City.

  • What is the artist trying to say? I don't get the black/white pattern. Andre the Giant rules though. Ben Franklin was the worlds first Wheat Paster?

  • @drigydrandrindran The song is called "Wild Beasts." It's by an artist named Christian Banks who used to work under the name Las Flores Project, but now goes by Walrus Ghost. It's good stuff.

  • @rabslocs I don't know, but it's good.

  • @alex22090 They're the same person

  • Just appreciate the art in a sense of creativity, just like music art evolves you hear bunch of REMIXES and just like art it evolves so in a sense he mixes bunch of things and makes them into ART-The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination

  • Shepard fairy is the founder of obey lol

Sucks how he gets fame for everything other than his posse

  • oh shit Shepard Fairey and Obey collaborating!?!?!?! Whoda thunk.

  • what genra is this music?

  • @pinkeraserpet12 he would only be a sellout if he promoted adveratisement in his work.

  • @stinkypacman no I'm not talkin bout any of those reasons. All his work is a rip off of old poster work. Done in the 60 and 70s. Show me an original piece. By him. Anyone can do a cut out of something eles and put obay under it. Open ur eyes man,
