  • Right on man. Wilber's prime move is always to "step back" as he does in the beginning of his third-way politics video. Stepping back is really a cover for ignorance, bias, and the pathological abstract attitude he has. Surely he is intelligent, but you are right - he embarrasses himself in this video. He should shut up about politics or get informed.

  • Which brings us back to the question of cognitive development on which other developmental lines built up. I could say: Ken Wilber has not yet cognitively evolved enough to perceive correctly the actual political situation. That would be quite a statement. But it's possible.

In this way I would agree that, yes, Ken Wilber should get informed better about the details of political reality, if he is ABLE to do so.

  • eing at second tier means that if you're stupid, you're colossally stupid. I am colossally stupid, when it comes to politics... :)

  • It's fascinating to see how fast you integrate knowledge. Wow! I'm curios where life will lead you.

  • I will be dabbling with the integral theories of consciousness of Peter Collins and Ken Wilber and various others, and metatheories, ect. That is to say, Ken Wilber is doing a condice job at vision-logic, but there are more leves available beyond visionlogic.

Integration is limited in vision-logic language alone. Hence the seeming preposterousness of Wilber's integral politics idea.

  • Hi I'm the same as MaBu888. I'm going to be a martial arts instructor. The way I'm going to teach meditation and martial arts will be through a gist that is similar to integral life practice, but not necessarily. An integral attitude needs to be that of inclusion and reworking of knowledge from all domains of knowledge and values. Last but not least, it is going to be about martial arts. As for me integrating lots of knowledge, that goes way berfore I read any integral stuff.
