J saids that many bands are doing the same stuff, i think thats why he dont want to hear metal stuff anymore, because when you listen other bands who plays the same stuff you are playing you sometimes get one way or another unconsciously influenced by them, maybe thats why Killswitch dont sound like the rest of the bands playing the same stuff.
