Viper does makes a bypass for the 08 it came out way before the 5902 and I'm pretty sure it would work with the 09... I have a 08 gts with the same fast key system, can you still unlock the door just by putting your hand on the handle or do you have to unlock it using the viper pager? I kinda like not having to open my doors with a remote, bugs the shit outta people when the doors open "magically" lol

@GtShOtTaZ yeah my friend got the alarm n yes now they do have a bypass module, but now im just tooooo lazy n also means more money kz the guy would have to take it off n re do it again because he solder the wires into the car manually sense there wasnt a module for my car when it first came out. I don't care any more I would get a car soon so... n its still safe cant get it stolen.

Take it back to your installer. A Viper dealer should not have given you a bullshit story that your car is "too new" and should have fixed your problem by calling Viper directly for a workaround. A remote starter should be a convenience, not more of a hassle!

DUH!! Of course you will lose a key. How else do you expect to bypass the cars factory immobilizer? If you got a new car your car should have received three copies of your keys 2 masters and a valet. You have just earned the GHETTO AWARD. Congrats. Whoever told you that your car was to new was an idiot!!

Does this remote start work without stepping on the clutch?

Or does your car not require stepping on clutch to start?

I also dont fancy not leaving my parked car in gear and relying solely on the hand brake.
