Alright. This is my first time making a video tutorial. xD I suck at it, obviously, but I'll get better...I hope. ^^;

So this is how to do a Packing Tape Transfer.
You take your image, from a magazine or a photocopy, and place it on the sticky side of the packing tape (some weird thing in my video), then you burnish it, then you soak it, then you rub it all off. ^^

  • Perfect, I loved it. Looking forward to you sharing more of your ideas!

  • Thanks a bunch~ I was wondering if I was doing it wrong and this was very helpful :)

  • Thanx - great idea! I have been looking for a simple way to do transfers. I don't think your video was so bad, especially your first. I have seen waaaaaaay worse!

  • Interesting. I've seen worse how-tos, so no need for self scolding. Pikachu, awesome, awesome =D

  • why not charzard brian lol

    or maybe even squtile lol

    good vid man

  • would this technique work for coloured photographs as well?

  • great job, but might i suggest you use the back of an ink pen as siscors can scratch. as for being so hard on yourself, stop that now. you did great. you showed how to do something, you did it in one section, no editing, and you were holding the camera too....you rule. you may not know it, but hey that aint easy. once it dries, you can paint the back with rubber cement or mod podge and it will stick to well...everything. this was great, be good to you.

  • Thanks and you should not be so hard on yourself. You did a good video.

  • i had no idea you could do a transfer with packing tape. thanks!

  • Great video! Hard to do a tutorial and operate the camera at the same time. Thanks
