Torrie was supposed to be the first diva's champion. That title was made for her to win once she beat Krissy Vaine but Torrie had her back injury and Krissy left the WWE so the storyline was dropped and the title was given to Michelle McCool (Smackdown's 2nd best diva since Torrie was the Queen of Smackdown)

@hahaitzhaha My facts are as straight as they can be. All you have to do is go to WWE.com and look at the history of the Divas Championship it will show you that it came to be in the summer of 08. Simple as that. Go to WWE.com and see for yourself.
