Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan was a renowned classical Urdu and Persian poet of the subcontinent. Most notably, he wrote several ghazals during his life, which have since been interpreted and sung in many different ways by different people. He is considered to be the most dominating poet of the Urdu language.

i remember this poem "aah ko chahiye" it was in our F.Sc 2nd year Urdu Course n for me it was really hard to describe the whole sense of it... miss that year 2008 in Lahore. :)
