Dachau wasnt a death camp, it was a concentration camp, death camps are meant for killing, this camp wasnt

this camp was a death camp as you can see in the video... you saw the gas chamber and the ovensto burn the bodies... it was meant as a death camp. the important thing to know is that people did die here and that this wasnt the only place that it happend. this place was just the beginning of it all.

Crappy ignorant... It's obvious you know what brainwash means. Curious to note one thing: my girlfriend's grandfather was in Buchenwald in 1944, and "the fake" was so real. Too much real. In fact, his wife died in the gas chamber. Just a fake, sure... You're the kind of shit that this world doens't need.

I just came from visiting this place and every clip was bone tingling as I stood right there and touched most of it. Absolutely horrible what these people went though. I have never felt so much more compassion for other people before the day I walked through Dachau. Wonderful video!

All photographs of heaps of corpses were taken in Western camps, such as Dachau, Bergen-Belsen, and Buchenwald, where historians now agree no mass murders took place. Significantly, there are no such photographs taken at the 6 camps in which mass murder is alleged to have occurred (Auschwitz, Majdanek, Sobibor, Treblinka, Belzec, Chelmno), all in areas under Soviet control. It is very telling the Soviets released no pictures of mass graves or heaps of corpses.

I really appreciate the music in this video. Holocaust videos are often very interesting, but about 90% of them contain the theme song from Schindler's List. Is it just me or is anyone else sick of that song? Anyway, the music picked for this one is much better and goes well with the video.

i just came back from visiting this camp two days ago this camp was a base model for various other camps set up through out europe sum 35000 lives were taken here nothing compared to others set up in poland ect but beileve me this place has a very strange presence about it

The argument over whether or not it was a death camp is surely one of semantics. It is true: the authorities did not formally designate it a death camp, but the death rate among inmates was horrendously high, owing to neglect, maltreatment, torture, lack of proper medical care, lack of food, and (towards the end) gross overcrowding. Many survivors bore scars, mental or physical, for the rest of their life. The fact that it wasn't a "death camp" as such hardly makes its ghastly story any better.

My aunt lives about 2 miles away from there. I used to go there to visit and play when I was a kid. It's no evil death camp. Shit, the place has only 2 ovens that can fit only one person at a time. I know. I crawled inside them when I was a kid. Clearly it doesn't have the facilities or capabilities for carrying out mass multitudes of extermination. It was a work camp, then later it became a way station, where prisoners were classified and sent to other work camps.

when you are there, they say that nobody dies in the gas chamber but this is a bad and stupid lie, in this chamber many people died the through babies on the wall and such stuff, the chamber was the first, and then came ausschwitz!
