I see alot of comments here about how JRP is at fault. I watched the incident in question a few times and saw JRP hold his line in a twisty section of track. The reality is, without mirrors or a spotter on the radio, JRP had no idea how many people were behind him and did the right thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Factory teams are the best riders out there and should be able to put a clean pass on a backmarker with no problem. To top it off Al Ludington should be fired for this.

@yourandy Absolutley correct. I have been there too AND cause an accident trying to "get out of the way." The faster more experienced riders are smart enough to go around you, as they assume you WILL hold your line.

Luddington got reprimanded for that BTW.

It is virtually impossible to get out of the way in S bend sections. The safest thing to do is hold your line so that the passing rider does not have to second guess the slower rider's moves.

Remember that race bikes do not have the benefit of rear view mirrors either.

Al Luddington has clearly bitten off more than he can chew with his new role. JRP is 100x the man that Al Luddington is.
