It's fun to see that they all use stuff that already exist today :D For instance, SeaDragon, PhotoSynth, Surface, Voice recognition, Augmented reality. etc.
The only thing that we cannot do is powerful micro batteries. We can do them as small as a credit card but those nuclear powered batteries only produce around 0.006 volts for 50 years.
those touch paper thin pads exist today. All that technology exists (still expensive though). And anyway microsoft is now working on windows 8 which doesnt use touchscreens but just body movement (so swishing your hand in the air will move the page) and no typing, just voice recognition. just search natal if you dont believe me.
Project natal has nothing to do with Windows 8. It is an xbox "controller" system. What's new (and totally not useful) in Windows 8 is 128 bit computing which should replace 64 bit softwares in about... hooo lets say 15 years or so....
Yes natalwas invented for te xbox but the designersare now using it for windows 8 as well after the heas of micosoft saw how promising it was. als these tings will almost certainly use wieless electricity, not batteries.
This would be an amazing time and use of technology for work. It makes me smile at least there's dreaming and work being done to push us forward, at all times.
I don't really believe that it will happen in 10 years from now. It's too futuristic. It might happen after 2019. Like 2032 or something.. Well, I'll be waiting :) for my children to play.
By the way, do u think time machine will be real too??
