A drive along the service roads under I-5 in Seattle. This area, known locally as the Caverns, is the lower edge of the Beacon Hill Jungle, the greenbelt that runs along I-5.

  • That's correct, just south of the old Rainier Brewery. Uphill from I-5 is the Beacon Hill area known as "The Jungle". The section under the freeway is appropriately described by local residents (of whom few have permanent homes) as "The Caverns".
