the fact is when Africans are committing genocide, no one cares cause that is what most of world wants...for them to self-destruct and then leave all that oil, gold, diamonds, rubies, etc.

sponsor a child if you can, and send money once a month so that child can have a chance to either get out or to grow up and have an impact themselves as a teacher or doctor or something.

You may be right but you failed to think about some other genocides committed by the Western government, this is just a diversionary tactics. so is Palestine, so is Iraq and so is Afghanistan. So you seemed blinded by the propaganda of your own kind that you become so sympathetics to Africans.

Its not a civil war, it's the government killing the people becuase the people challenged them because the government was bad in the first place.

If America tried to help, many would then say "American aggression" just like Iraq, Just like Bosnia. And they (that say that)would be wrong as usual!
