Here is my lampwork glass workshop or studio. It's in the garage and it features a Nortel Minor Burner, an oxygen concentrator, lots of glass in the drawers of the workbench, and a digitally controlled kiln to anneal the finished beads. The fuel source is propane - really just a tank of "bbq gas" and for safety, it's outside with a very long hose into the garage. Although I finally have enough lighting installed, I am waiting for the delivery of the ventilation blower - scheduled to arrive on 1/18/10 - and then my husband has to fabricate a hood and get it all installed. I thought there was good enough ventilation with all the garage doors open, but it's better to be safe than sorry!
