Gotta love HD DVD. Such a shame there were 2 format on the market at the same time. I still use my player more than Blu Ray (PS3).

No, I love this player. Upscales normal DVDs very well and its got a lot of features I like. I use this for my movies and keep the TV shows I'm watching in my other player that way I don't have to swap discs as much lol.

Does Your player vibrate at reading DVD disks?
I have the same HD-EP30 and ,I have noticed that at reading in the beginning of a disk(menu and the first 10-15 min from the very beginning of the film) it vibrates.On different disks the effect is expressed differently.

I haven't noticed it myself. Maybe contact their customer services and see if they'll replace it?
