Skiffle version of the 1969 Steppenwolf long-haired anthem: BORN TO BE WILD performed by Keith, Fin and Gus aka "Wray Gunn and The Rockets". This is the first time we've played together in quite a few years.

con you do commando cover ?

  • yes - maybe. I love commando

  • What is the blonde semi-acoustic guitar (not the Mosrite) that is being played in this clip? It looks like an old Harmony - classic look. Great song, even better rendition. You guys rock! :-)

  • Thanks nastycow7 - its a Hofner Senator

  • This is brilliant. You've inspired me, as soon as I can find a tea chest I'm going to make a bass!

By the way, is Keith 'Trent' from 'My Parents Are Aliens', we loved that show?!

  • Yes - it just might be Trent in another guise - Keith Raucous

  • I wanna see wray gunn whens he coming to the borders?

  • This is the real deal!!! Your Skiffle/Punk attitude to everything you do is inspiring! I used to play in a Rockabilly band and we used to cover just about anything (B52s, Undertones etc), and just give it a Rockabilly/Roots feel. Not for the novelty value but because it bloody worked and sounded great! Any time your up in Plockton, give us a shout...be great to have a wee jam!

  • way better than crappy slayer cover :)

  • That was way awesome !!!

  • this is the best.

  • where did carrer opportunities go? cant find it anywhere

  • Good stuff, lads. Glad to hear the Scotia's still around! Not been there for over 30 years, but spent too much (is that possible?) of my youth there!

  • see you at the edinburgh festival next year i hope

  • jeaaaaaaaaaaa
