well it depends if u like speed or strength, link does more dmg, but is slower, Toon Link's smash attacks do about 5-10% less dmg than links and don't hit as far, but he can run fast and jump higher, both are cool though

I also happen to main Toon Link. It's true, your technique is very predictable. You should have a balance between projectile and direct attacks. Use the projectile stuns to move in with the nearly lagless Neutral Aerial. This is a very vital tactic for using Toon Link, as he has neither power or reach. It's also necessary to use his speed to remain unpredictable. I mean, you're probably the only Toon Link I've seen that doesn't regularly use the Back Aerial. Try it, it works.

With your limited attack variation, aerial players would eat you alive. Also, spamming your forward smash is extremely risky; unless your opponent is stunned from another attack. The thing about Toon Link is that his remotely powerful attacks have decent knockback, yet they also has a disgustingly large amount of lag. I use the tilt attacks, because not only are they perimeter-hitters, but there is virtually no lag, and the power is just slightly lower.

@Sheldonl1 I think toon link's better because he's easier to move around with. plus his special reaches way farther and his moves are more useful. (In my opinion.)

iight first dude yhu okaye nd yhu use yo smash attacks 2 much nd it makes yhu look like yhur doin sumthen cuz the person ur playen against suckz..like really yhu wouldnt have beat me that easily if we both used toon link there r way more ways 2 kill people then smash attacks yhu use it 2 much man 4real nd use your projectiles more yhu could kill sum1 with ur chain a bomb boomerang arrow yo plain A atack yea but man yhu should watch the combos that r on here.the good ones..compare it 2 yours man
