No.. you do not "hold your breath" you are suppose to release your breath slowly counting how long it takes before all the breath runs out.

I'm 83, and I counted to 33 the first time. I assume we just count after taking a deep breath and then hold our breath as we count.

@charlie5698isdabomb A easy way to understand, for me at least, is to focus on your belly. Really let your belly increase, never being ashamed of looking fat while at it, coz it's just in the beginning

oh thanks for checking my cover :), but I just started taking singing lessons this year (you can't really expect someone to be that good in a short amount of time). Nice, congratulations for your master's degree. Yea I believe you that you got an education, but would'nt you agree that a good breathing technique is breathing from your diagrahm and seeing your stomach expand, right? we don't need to fight.
