How long do fat injections last?

Fat injections are long lasting if done correctly. That is my position and I stand by it! I have been in practice for 20 years and doing fat injections for the last decade.

If you frequent various plastic surgery blogs, there is a wide variation in the types of techniques that surgeons are using. Thus, there is a big difference in their results, and thus their opinion about whether fat injections are permanent.

Fat injections are permanent if the following is done:
1) correct technique of extraction and processing performed by the surgical team
2) proper post surgical protocol for patient
