  • I just had one, its really fucked up.

  • I had one 1 week ago. They didn't put me to sleep. It was very unpleasant(almost unbareable) till I learned how to get trought it - be calm and steady, breath rythmicaly trought you nose, pull your chin to you chest. Also try to lay yourself as comfortable as possible and think positive, it should be ok:).

  • had my third today, tried to be relax and breath. the first pass through the esophagus is bad, but than really just breathe normally and be relaxed (muscles) and it will be ok. it takes just like 4 minutes. good luck!

  • I had one today. They put me to sleep so I felt nothing (Just the BIG needle in my arm), I wanted to see how is the procedure carried out. By the way anesthesia is freaky, I mean they can do ANYTHING to you while you're asleep and you can't fight with the sensation, is just a total blackout

  • I had it too, it's fucking awesome!

  • I'm getting this done tomorrow, without sedatives probably... so as I hear here, it will suck... blegh! but then again, i've been sick for four months now, every day.. so be it....

  • I have had this done yesterday... It seems so easy on this video, but I will never ever do it again without being sedated. I have been gagging the whole time through and now my body feels like it has been run over by a truck.I guess from all of the gagging my muscles were very tensed. My throat is realy soar now as well.I'm sorry for those who have to go through this still. But maybe the advise of putting your chin to your chest and finding a way to breathe through your nose would help.Good luck!

  • I'm going to have this in a couple of days!! Im also very scared ;(

  • You're awake for it?!?! I've to get this done tomorrow & I'm absolutely petrified :(

  • @johnster1964 What if you need one on the NHS ? I must admit it does look scary but surely most hospital tests carry risks , and if you've have to deal with symptoms for years , looking inside is the best option as you might finally receive some relief.

  • need to do it tumorow man i am freaked out :( it looks so fucked up :o !! hope they put me in sleep if they do it :(i am kinda scared honestly :(
