If one is truly knowledgeable in investments, they'd realize how important this tax hike is. Economics says if something you tax something more, you generally get less of it. Why would you hike taxes on investing in the middle of a recession? Does this country need more or less investing in our economy at this time? You decide.

@carolinacasper you understand how taxes work, right? that 3% increase isnt across the whole $250,000 its only on the top layer of their income. if someone had earned $250,000 and the tax got hiked by that 3%, he would only have to pay an extra 2500 annually not 7500

sorry dude, I'm not defending McCain, but a 3% tax hike on the return of an investment is a SERIOUS business decision that could blow the whole deal. Not saying I'm rich or anything cuz I'm not that far out of college, but get real. Understand economics. Nobody wants to invest when they won't make a good return.
