XeviWorld: Last Drum Lesson (AKA Drum Lesson #2)

Hi! This is supposed to be my drum lesson number 2... but, you know? I don't feel legitimate to say that this is a drum lesson! I'm not a teacher!
So, this is going to be my last "Xevi Official Drum Lesson" okay? :D ;p
We'll find some other name for the forthcoming videos...if you ask me more things of course! ;p It depends on you.

This video talk about 3 issues people asked me:

#1: PolyBlast asked about the chorus of "First It Giveth". I think this is what he needs. Is that dude?

#2: Lewis asked about the "bell thing" on "All My Life". The bell is right I think, the kick beats not at all. But I was playing by memory.

#3: gooflethegreat asked about the intro of Probot's "Shake Your Blood". After a moment of doubt...I think that's the thing... ;p

Xevi, great vid man. I was going to ask you of something by the way. Now, I don't mean to be cheeky, but i think you should try some Nirvana songs. Though some of the beats are mostly simple, they are great to listen to. Plus, you should try new and fresh challenges to improve your overall skill man. Keep rocking, everytime you jump on your kit you get closer to Grohl's skill. But you have a long way to go, yet. But close :P

are you using bass between 20-30 seconds

Caught your comment here. The basic beat you're after is a simple 4/4. Kick drum on the '1'+2'+'3+4+. From there, you can throw in some neat fills, etc, so long as you keep that basic beat going, you could basically do anything with that beat.

Remember, on the 'one' and two 'and' three and four and 'one' and two 'and three and four and... etc.
