No, unfortunately I don't think Arthur was talking about Merthur :( I think he was talking about Gwen & him. And Merlin was helping them to get together.

This is the trailer that was shown at the end of ep 1. I really like the end and how it gets really dramatic, and it's probably my favorite version of it, but I really like trailer #3 as well, just because when Arthur says "nothing could ever happen between us" it looks much more like he's talking to Merlin in that version than in this one. But f*in good trailer, and if I had not tuned into the series well after ep 1, I think I would have got withdrawal symptoms from that!

i know it sounds soppy but i really like the relationship of Gwen and Arthur because their characters are so intresting prior to the legend and in the tv show.
