For the first time visitor, Bali is just like a huge Bazaar. The main tourist areas, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, Ubud, Nusa Dua, Candi Dasa, and Lovina are shoppers paradise. There are literally thousands of shops, stalls and street side merchants.
In Kuta
The main shopping areas are around Kuta squares, the are market near the beginning of Jalan Kartika Plaza, Jalan Pantai which runs from bemo corner to the beach, Jalan Singosari, which connect Jalan Raya Kuta with Jalan Kartika Plaza, Jalan Legian which runs north from Bemo corner, and all the little lanes such as Poppies I and Poppies II which lead off from it.
Legian
includes jalan Legian itself and the alleys which runoff from it, Jalan Melasti with its Art Market, Jalan Padma, and Jalan Padma utara, and Rum Jungle road. Seminyak includesJalan Double six, famous for its sarongs, clothing and batik, Jalan Laksamana and Jalan Raya Seminyak itself.
Sanur
shops in Sanur are centered on two main streets, Jalan Danau Tamblingan and Jalan Danau Poso.
Ubud
Ubud seems to offer things found nowhere else in Bali, so its worth a visit. Main shopping streets are Jalan Monkey Forest, Jalan Hanoman and connecting lanes. The large art and craft market on the corner of Jalan Monkey Forest and the main road is one of the best on the island
