I think perhaps they underestimated how rare it is to see a band being totally honest with an audience and honestly expressing themselves, if in fact that is what they were doing. The audience was bound to react, forced to react, perhaps in due to their inexperience in being presented with honest self expression b4 they did not know how to react. Thus, they reacted only in ways they had before. When you are forced to flee, do you run down roads you've never gone down b4? Do you stand still?

John Lydon isn't Iggy Pop. He's called Johnny Rotten for a reason.

Why do you do interviews, Johnny? You're such a donkey's ballsack.

This is the reason I hated the Sex Pistols.
The music was okay, a bit overrated in my opinion but hey where absolute dick heads.
The Ramones, the Circle Jerks, the Stooges, the Dead Kennedy's all got there message across without sounding like petulant children.
For christ sakes, Iggy Pop loved getting interviewed.

reminds me of two 13 year olds explaining themselves to a principal

"Excuse me for talking while you were interrupting." Tom Snyder had more PUNK in that phrase than Johnny Lydon had in his lifetime.
I didn' know Julian Assange was in P.I.L.
