@lukemorse1 The US Bloodlines has blood dripping on the title screen, and the 1-Up on the bone bridge, nothing was really changed from Mega Drive Japan to US Genesis conversion other than name.

This game costs a grip! I still haven't been able to win this off of Ebay.....I got lucky with Yu Yu Hakusho on Mega Drive but one day i will have a copy of this. Good video!

i don't care what anybody says....This will always be the Greateset castlevania Of all time along with Symphony of the Night,Harmony of Dissonance,Aria of Sorrow and Portrait of ruin.

I agree the music is nice. It has that nice synth sound that was unique to the Mega Drive. Even though the SNES had superior sound, I think the Mega Drive's sound was more unique and interesting and thus has aged better. Check out Adventures of Batman and Robin for some really funky, pumping Mega Drive chip beats (and amazing special effects).

it is bloodlines, i recognize that intro music, well it is the Japanese version at least

That opening song is one of the best video games tunes i have ever heard.

Man, great vid, just started watching your stuff, and I must say very addictive. Love the energy you have toward gaming. I too can relate. Keep up the good work.

Yeah I dont get that eaither. Like Resident Evil in Japan is called Biohazard. Why change the name if its still written in English.

I wonder why its called Vampire Killer, doesnt that defeat the purpose of changing the name if its Japanese?
This game rules so much. The music is so amazing and fantastic game play. You can't go wrong.

Yeah, I don't think the U.S. version had the blood dripping but I also have the famicom disk version which I think I showed it in my famicom collection vid. It's been a long time and it's not that great of a vid but if you want to see the blood thing, you can see it there.
