Just a short video to use as a prop for a lesson on hand signals used for directing helicopters on the ground. This is something I never thought to study, and the helicopter signals aren't covered in the AIM. Over the 2 weekends that I was flying out of numerous FBOs in the California area though, the ground marshals regularly used hand signals to direct traffic.
Here we're flying out of KMYF. The inset video is from a headcam that I was testing for shooting video of the aerial photography work I was doing with BoatPix.
Also, check out the warbird and the S64 that we fly by--it landed just a few minutes before our departure.
