Yuna has different reasons for not being able to sleep. At first, she can't sleep because her job as a summoner and singer requires her to work around the clock. After the defeat of sin, she still cannot sleep because of the loss of Tidus. His death still disturbs her. Yuna tries to block his memory from her mind by dancing at parties but it doesn't work because she's wishing she was dancing with Tidus. Yuna feels empty and dead inside without Tidus and what's worse, now she's having a recurring nightmare of them running away from an unknown terror. Right before they are confronted, Yuna always wakes up from the dream without knowing what happens. Yuna is exhausted and tormented by the dreams but one night, the dream goes farther than it has before. But even so, it stops at a point that she doesn't know what has become of Tidus and her. Yuna decides she is fed up with the nightmares and stays up all night every day partying and dancing so she won't have to dream anymore. After weeks of this (yes, I know the human body isn't capable of staying awake this long but whatever) Yuna hasn't had the dream due to lack of sleep but she isn't happy like she thought she would be. She feels like she is obligated or...meant to finish the dream. Finally, she decides it's "time to face her demons" (LOL, Paine quote ftw) and lays down to sleep. The dream finally completes but Yuna doesn't know how to feel. She is relieved but...sad somewhat. Yet the dreams never come back again.
