If you don't like pineapple, don't open a tin with a label that says pineapple and then complain because it contains pineapple. Usually the label is a very good indication of the contents. If you don't like the contents, why did you open the tin in the first place?

You're another person who knew who was in the video, knew they didn't like him, then watched it anyway and complained. It's like me seeing a video entitled "runny poo", seeing a thumbnail of someone doing a runny poo, then watching it anyway and saying "THIS IS DISGUSTING!! I HATE THIS! I'M GOING TO COMPLAIN!." Yes, it IS disgusting, but if I don't like it then It's my fault for watching. I should have looked at the thumbnail and read the description before complaining.

Well considering Ricky Gervais's style of humor doesn't slowly change over time, I fail to see why anyone would suddenly expect him to make clean jokes all of a sudden. This is his sense of humor, and all of his shows are like this. So my pineapple analogy still stands.

There is no way he could have known what kind of humour the video contained before actually seeing it. Since you like comparisons - its like opening a tin that says Pineapple, you open it only to find out it is spoiled. You aren't going to eat it, are you? You are going to throw it away and presumably bitch about it. Anyway, there is a comments section below the video so people can express their opinions, positive and negative.
