The end game is drawing near and the dark forces are gathering, growing stronger and stronger with each second that passes. Resources are growing thin, and overall manpower is in short supply. Can Ryu muster the strength to reach his final destination, or will the evil influence be too overwhelming for the young Ninja Dragon to stand up against.

Either way, one certain stalker will have his toys ready for ultimate pleasure... I'll let you dwell on that image.

Part 4 of the playthrough contains the rest of Act 6 and Act 7 up to 7-2.

Stage Notes:
-Act 6-2: With the strange building in sight, it's a mad dash to the entrance as enemies come at you at full force to impede your progress. Stand firm and attack all opponents that stand in your way while avoiding their incoming onslaught. Be sure to grab the Invincible Fire Wheel as it will make that final push towards the goal much smoother. It's a very straightforward stage, but can be quite taxing for the unprepared.

-Act 6-3: It's the return of a familiar boss with a familiar pattern. Keep your eye on the enemy on the enemy on the right and maintain focus on that enemy as he will be the only vulnerable target. Avoid the clone enemy and all the shots that both of them fire. While the overall boss patter is the same as last, don't think it will be a walk in the park.

-Act 7-1: As Robert stays behind to defend the last area, Ryu runs toward the gauntlet as the final stages begin in earnest. All your skills will be tested early as Harpies, Fire Snakes, and Will 'O Wisps flood the stage. Keep the Art of the Fire Wheel handy as they will be good in tight areas (increasingly so if you have your doubles). After that... the last leg.

-Act 7-2: If 7-1 didn't get your ire up, then this stage will do that, slap you in the face, kick you in the balls, and laugh at your misery as you huddle in the fetal position sucking your thumb crying for your mommy. Enemy placement is at its most brutal as Fire Snakes are placed in areas where the slightest miscue can send you flying into the abyss below. Oblis and Harpies (ESPECIALLY the Harpies) will be all over the place in tight areas with thin platforms. Clone Bomber Heads will be placed where getting items will be a chore (as if that wasn't the case in the beginning). And stage itself will overall test your platforming skill. Use as many ninja arts as possible and get the potions as need be. However, you must still be aware of how much ninja power you have left. It may be the difference between an easy final battle or a stressful last assault.

As for who's behind the scenes of this tumultuous chaos and insanity... find out tomorrow as the REAL villain emerges. And for those who already know, please no spoilers. The neophytes that have never experienced the game must be kept in suspense till the very end because it pleases me.

  • Alright! Another Shinobi Airball! WOOT!

No, seriously... This game is going much better then the first Ninja Gaiden... Hell, the first game bent you over and shoved a giant sized cucumber up your rear end. This time, you got the cucumber and you have the game bent over.

  • LOL, I didn't take notice of the Shinobi Airball at all when I did that. I should have made a note of that. XD

Anyway, yeah, I consider NG2 to be the easiest of the original trilogy (especially considering the first game's insane difficulty and the third game's imbalances including limited continues). So thanks for the comment... excluding the phallic imagery, of course.
