@96vqSE5 it has a ~30k VQ35 in it now. im not working right now so it might get a 3.0 put back in if until i get back on my feet again. i havent driven it since it started making that noise

sounds like some BAAAADDD knocking, lifters bad, does it have no power when you run it? like if youu step on it full throttle is it like your driving in quarter throttle, might be oil pump went out, or something like that, but the vq30de's are ccheapl and if your going to have to buy a new motor, get a vq30dek with 00vi :)
