Short video of the 2011 Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day march from the convention center to the State Capitol Building in Springfield, Illinois. There we lobbied our representatives and senators, the Majority Speaker, the Senate Majority Leader, and the Governor.
Illinois is the ONLY state in the Union that does not trust its citizens enough to permit them to carry firearms for their defense and the defense of their loved ones. Illinois is also the ONLY state in the UNION that requires its citizens to possess a Firearm Owner's Identification Card to possess a firearm, a taser, a pepper spray device, or even one damn bullet! When it comes to 2nd Amendment rights Illinois citizens ARE the 1% and the Illinois State overnment and State Police ARE the 99%.
