Making Yogurt is easy, it's just timing. Yogurt is very good for you and making it at home can save you alot of money. Yogurt is really good for your digestive system and even lactose intolerent people can eat dairy this way.

  • I did this yesterday and I checked it after 9 hours....it was still runny with lumpy bits in it...so I have left it longer....did I do something wrong?

  • @washuism It either was to cold or to hot or the bacteria was not strong enough. you need to "create" an enviroment that the good bacteria can thrive in. Temperature and healthy seed bacteria is the key.

  • how is this cheaper...

  • @ssgokuliu Do some math

  • Tried this out for the first time and it was fabulous. I will be making this again. Wonderful video which has changed my eating habits. Thank you for sharing my friend.

  • @sifisto I appreciate the feedback. Thanks !!

  • @Yankeeprepper I tried making yoghurt again using the culture from the runny batch. It worked even better, I agree...maybe the bacteria was not strong enough....I think I also got the warming/cooling temperature of the heated milk more accurate this time.

  • You did an awesome job explaining how to make yogurt. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  • Great video Yankee, we already do this, I never used to eat yogurt, was brainwashed that it was horrible. I love it! Thanks for sharing

  • @Yankeeprepper Exactly! Even the cheapest quart jugs of yogurt are several dollars. ....Whereas i can get an entire gallon of whole milk for $2... and it take just a few minutes to prepare this

  • No way. Damn, I never saw this video. Now I have something new to try. Thanks For the Info. Be Safe Brother

  • I somehow missed this video when going back to the older ones, it's great. Looking forward to sharing it with my family.

  • Great work, looks tasty.

  • My whole family LOVES this yogurt recipe. I use whole milk because my my family loves thick yogurt. My girls love the smoothies I make out of this...I took a quart of cherries that I canned for pie filling, took half a quart of this yogurt and made cherry smoothies out it. Cheap, great tasting and very good for you! All of your recipes rock! You're awesome YP!
