  • Please fix South and North Dakota. I know its just a typo but for some reason it really bothers me lol. Thanks for posting this map.

  • @DTRAVELZ Well i am in the process of doing that already its still neads some final touches, it may take awhile due to me working quite abit. but i'm trying. Funny thing is i don't know how i missed that typo in the first place, lol

  • does PA get major tornadoes?

  • @xxxRCT3FREAKxxx Well i do know that you get tornadoes, you might have had some major twisters but there rare in that part of the continent, the reason the plains from Texas to Alberta see them so often is the rockies block any interference of any ocean storms, also the way the continent is set up seems to enhance windshear and the flow of clashing air masses over the Plains. On occaision the shear will move to the seaboard but not often.

  • @xxxRCT3FREAKxxx Tornado Alley isn't a decided location, its just a rough idea of what Storm Chasers have experienced, in all reality In most maps tornado alley is only shown in a few states TX, OK, KS, and NE reason for this is its where most chasers chase based on the convenience of the fact that tornadoes happen in the southern plains in spring when most chasers don't take summer vacations, and also Canada isn't shown cause here most twisters go unreported due to lower Population.

  • Also this map of tornado alley is the actual full map, but the ones chasers show on tv are the areas that chasers chase more often due to up to date weather instruments in theses areas and where most chasers live.

  • i live in the middle of tornado alley and have yet to see one

  • @jalex11 Yes it is.

  • Even though Indiana isn't in tornado alley, we see a lot of tornado's too.

  • MANITOBA CANADA -- The place to Be for Tornadoes and Funnel Clouds in the months of June , July it is the [ hot bed ] of Severe Weather that most people in the World don't know about. I Live here and see many funnel clouds and sum tornadoes every Summer . I see some videos on here from Manitoba of Tornadoes and surprised there's not more.

  • i just HAD to move to Arkansas D:

  • @rebldomakr99 Saskatchewan has lots of tornadoes. A lot probably don't get reported since it's so sparsely populated. Regina actually had 3 of them in 1979 (not to mention the worst one in Canadian history in 1912).

  • I live in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, (Which is in Canada if some of you didn't know) And, in the summer time, we're always under Tornado Watch or Tornado Warning, and we always get one, once a year...It's freaky.
