  • Nice dude. Cant wait for this tool or toads tool 64 with 3d file importer.

I think I heard this was imported by a tool. I'm not that sure I think. xD Did you make a tool to do this?

  • Yeah, it's a simple tool I did. I will probably release it soon since I don't intend to work on it much (VL-Tone is almost done with his much more complete .obj importer)

  • Great job! Hopefully this will motivate VL-Tone to work on his OBJ importer.

Also, might I suggest trying to import and work with simpler shapes hehe, I mean of course that kind of shape wouldn't work right. I'd start off with a simple cube or pyramid.

  • C'mon, what do you have against gourds :) ?

  • At first I thought this was a code that ruined vertex faces.

Then I thought you had a bet of the Polygon importer

Now I realize you made an Obj importer on your own! Sweet! Can you release this level as a ppf patch? Just to goof around in?

  • This level isn't much fun and the collision doesn't work very well (seems like the object is more complex than the collision system can handle). I'll publish a .ppf patch when I get something decent.

  • I think this game is close to being openly reengineered by fans, people have been developing cheat codes, creating behaviors, rearranging the levels, altering textures, creating new objects, it's amazing! People actually unlocked Luigi now! Next thing, people will be able to add sound effects.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone released a SM64 Engine kit so people can make their own game (from the SM64 engine). That would be so awesome!

  • I agree. Your models are great.
