It was Sheffield Wednesday!

Speaking for my stepfather, since I'm US born and was too young to remember this (born 88 in MI, US), "It's a shite video and if you must make a tribute have the decency to spell correctly and use appropriate images." In my opinion, this is hardly a film. It's a thrown-together collage of very low-res pictures with a bit of basic video-editing that even a six year old child could make. Hearing about the event from someone who was lucky enough NOT to make it to the game makes me insulted by this.

@swfcowls1969 s. you're 43!!! you should know what happened at football in the 80's,ie fans treated like shit by police. do you remember the miners strike? was your dad on strike and getting his head battered in by police? as for blaming the fans...wednesday and united are well known for causing trouble. i remember your lot rioting at oldham and even throwing bricks at your manager jack charlton. not to mention killing that blades fan at wembley! all lfc fans were was rowdy, just like forests!

@swfcowls1969 the correct number of fans were in the leppings lane end. that was proven by the turnstile count and video//photographic footage of the crowd still out side the ground before they opened the gates. why dont you read the taylor report before spouting your biased shit?a major part of the justice campaign is the 315pm cut off point as the coroner said all were dead by then, whch was clearly a lie. therefore all evidence after 315pm was inadmissible. like why were ambulances held back?

@travismac27 Yes, of course the Police said that, NOT. No matter what they did, they would be blamed, whether the tragedy happened in or outside the ground. You have hindsight, they didn't. Its easy to blame others than accept some blame for fans actions, that led to the decision made by the police. RIP 96, but the fans need to move on and leave the families to find out what happened. Action has been taken to pevent future actions, so focus on the positives.
The giant scrolling letters where a bit much.
