So TRUE!!! When I heard "Velvet Chains" I heard that phenomenal voice, hearing him in person, OH MY, I too do not know why he didn't make it BIG. Bette Midler, I agree, butcher. I have heard Seena Easton, so so or less. Gary, I have always loved you & wish you the BEST forever!!!

I see there is a version by Sheena Easton... so I will go listen to it... but right now... Bette Midler is the best...

Sorry! I guess al caps means shouting? LOL! Passionate is a better word for it ;-) I could not agree with you more ~ chills is such a great description. The said thing is it is very hard to find his music anywhere anymore. I live in the Phoenix area so If you have some good suggestions, let me know...

NO ONE EVER HAS COME CLOSE TO RECORDING THIS SONG AS WELL AS GARY MORRIS HAS!!! I WAS ABSOLUTELY SICK WHEN BETTE MIDLER WON AN AWARD FOR HER RENDITION OF IT. @littlefuzz4 You are absolutely right. Garys version came out first and was so awesome to listen to. I now cringe every time that Midler sings her version - she butchered it up completely
