Seydouba Soumah (1956-2002) and his group Lanyi perform the song "Africa Dance" from their self titled album "Lanyi" (1997)
Seydouba was a child prodigy in his home country The republic of Guinée, W-Africa. For years he was a member of the renown "Les ballets Africains de Guinée" before moving to Europe and settling down in Arnhem, Holland. He formed the group "Lanyi" in 1995 along with Icelandic drummer Halldór Lárusson. The group split up in the year 2000.
Seydouba passed away in december of 2002 after loosing the battle with cancer.
