  • I am just curious if it has any lag, a delay present when receiving a signal through line-in.

    Cheers

  • @Dragsliv none works perfectly

  • Wassup man, I have the same card, but I do not get the results when put into sonar, I mean I can hear the effect through my headphones, but say for instance I am using the compressor in the emu card, I still see peaks on the wave file after recording in sonar..any suggestions, thanks

  • @nonfickshun5 You may want to change your compressor setting. I get a smooth recording even in Rap vocal recording

  • does this have a input for a guitar jack?

  • @sonicthehedgehogxp its just 2 1/4 inch inputs. I believe the bigger emu sounds card have a guitar input and they have this software mixer as well.

  • @nonfickshun5 did you put the ASIO send after the FX (at the bottom of the slots on the channel)? it works that way.

  • Hey man. Really appreciate these videos, really informative.

I have the EMU-0404, too, but I've always just put it straight into Sonar, so never used effects in real time, but your way is so much better.

Problem is, I don't know how to get the program up which is in your video. What's it called? Could I download it? I've had the soundcard installed for years, but don't think I have the CDs which came with it.

  • watched a few of your vids.

    nice and informative, thanks.

btw the name is pronounced emu (as in the big ass bird)

E for electronic and µ (mµ which is ancient greek and is used as a special symbol in many academic fields)

  • @Shumetrent this soundcard have 1/4 inch outputs so you need 1/4 cables to 1/4 inputs on your mixer
