This was an attempt to hike in to a small headwater brook trout stream and film myself catching some brook trout that went bad. I underestimated the length of the hike by many miles. I thought it would be about a 12 mile hike however the trail does not exactly parallel the stream as it had appeared on a map. The round trip was more like 22 miles and I had to turn around about 2 miles from where the stream intersects the trail, having only a few hours of daylight and about a 9 mile hike back out to the trail head.
