  • one interesting thing to know about this tune, the "oh yeah!" sample was recycled from Konami's Escape Kids (which also used the "Yipee" from Sunset Riders whenever a player used a speed boost in EK)

  • A-A-M........HIGH SCORE!

  • @mrgutchman you're right. it does sound a little like mame, but louder.

  • @figment1988 well a few months back or so i downloaded that Lethal Enforcers soundtrack from the website that you PMed me, and the mp3's sound just like in MAME, not the arcade machine. did you notice that when you played them?

  • @mrgutchman it's often better when it's on the actual hardware rather than it being emulated. This is especially notable on the soundtracks.

  • @figment1988 the same is true for Lethal Enforcers 1, the percussion is better on the arcade machine

  • @figment1988 at 0:06 it sounds like the deep voice is saying "X-mun" instead of "X-Men"; come to think of it, it sounds like the guy that says "X-Men" at the title sequence and the music of stage 1 (right before the this stage's music loops) is saying it this way, like "X-Mun" or "X-Min".

  • @mrgutchman indeed. Problem with MAME is that some of the instruments are often left out, and if they're there, it requires plenty of tweaking to have them heard.

  • @figment1988 hey did you ever notice that the BGM of this game sounds worse in MAME than on the actual arcade machine of this game? The percussion is better in the actual arcade machine.

  • I used to delay entering in all of my initial quickly, just so I could listen to more of this track playing, LOL!
