Valkyrie: The Power Beauties [ヴァルキリー] Game Sample -- PC-98

Valkyrie: TPB is a pretty good adult fighting game developed by "Discovery Software" in the vein of Advanced Variable Geo, but it was in some ways more advanced and polished, though I can't speak for the framerate or animation. It deals with an ordinary Japanese high school student named Hatsumi Tarou who is one day visited by a cat. As fate would have it, the cat wasn't an ordinary cat, but a creature from another world, the Magical World. As it turns out, the "cat" explains that once approximately every 1200 years, his world holds a competition where beautiful, powerful "magical witches" (or magical girls / Mahou Shoujo if you prefer) fight to become the new queen of the world, and they scout for worthy humans to act as an observer to the battles. It has come down to the six most powerful and the last one standing gets to face the reigning champion. Obviously, "you" were chosen and you get to choose one of the six you want to personally manage.

Visually, the game is adequate if not above average. The animation is pretty choppy, but it just seems to be pretty natural for some of these PC-98 games, though the framerate has little impact on the controls, which respond well. More than that, the backdrops have some detail and the characters are presented well enough. The music is pretty good and the gameplay is perhaps a little ahead of its time as characters can double jump, execute desperation attacks, and even air block. The game comes with features standard to any fighting game (except for the adult CG viewer, which not every game has). The game is kinda cheap, but the A.I. is unbelivably predictable, though you'll think they cheat like crazy at first since they can grab and throw you in sometimes impossible scenarios. This video covers the first two battles in the story mode, where we use Momoko and fight Sari and Moe (who sure enough looks pretty Moe-inspired). Graphic material is censored. I'm actually surprised this game even asks if you're 18+ upon boot-up too.

I'm gonna just as an experiment, get a copy of this game and get the screen caps (just the scenes I feel that aren't so bad as to need censoring) and make a slide show video of them and post it on youtube, and wait and see how long it takes to get flagged. I predict it never will. Even if it does get flagged, nudity flags just get a video rated 18+. Explicit sexual acts flags get a video deleted. And I'm pretty sure only copyright violation (or other illegal video) can get an account suspended.

So you're saying that you're not going to do what you asked me to do and upload strictly unedited footage? Sound logic, as it's easy to pick and choose. Of course, if you uploaded my footage or something similar without editing, it would be removed (and possibly be given a strike). It really makes all your complaining seem pointless ya know? Ah well. I figured as much, but do as you wish; it won't really prove anything as it's not even in the same context.

And I believe that it is very likely that it wouldn't even be 18+ restricted, as I'm sure no Youtube users would bother to flag it, and Youtube employees if they saw it wouldn't even think it was bad enough to take any action.

*Sigh* You've commented so much that I'm not even sure what to reply to, so I will say this: I pointed out that the account would be on grounds for termination or the video removed; I'm not naive to how things are done on this site. It takes multiple strikes in some (but not all) cases to be terminated. Video removals can also give you strikes. Again, it matters not what you consider nude art; this game in general clearly violates their basic guidelines on the subject as-is (without editing).

Flagging is at the discretion of the user; YT gets hundreds of flags every hour and has millions of videos; because a few slip by doesn't mean they don't care. I personally know people who got strikes for not editing properly. I knew a PC-98 uploader with far less offensive content (mostly crude titles) that was removed in a heartbeat. Until you can take me up on my offer and upload the gameplay uncensored, I honestly don't think you're exactly entitled to deem what is acceptable on this site.

Until then, I don't see what the big deal is. You went on a long rant exploring the ethics and qualities of adult media for what seems like nothing. You're entitled to your opinion, but it has little to nothing to do with how this site operates-- I don't feel like devoting my time to continue talking about this rather pointless issue any longer. @TheVizzinieverlost By that logic, most early 90s fighting games would be complete shit in all honesty as you could use the same move or strategy over and over, which was further exploited due to a lack of air guard or evasive manuevers... and no need to be rude. Watching this video and calling people virgins can seem pretty counter-productive.
