  • I gotta agree with skaterspwn, man. I work for a data recovery firm located just south of Cincinnati. You get that bass pumping and it's going to mess with the read/write heads in the drive. Solid state drives are pricey but for a true media center Mac in your Tahoe, you'll want to get one.

  • @SirTonyChaos no thanks, its been almost a year with no problems at all. If it was a problem, yes of course, but it isnt...thanks anyway though.

  • you should get a solid state drive so that computer can take the shock from the music.

  • nahhh its doing just fine.

  • lol i got the same phone. Is it the 5800 with iPhone mod???? Becus i have that 1

  • no its an iphone with no iphone mod LOL

  • What's the brand of the screen?

  • @MYintelligentopinion You been gone for a while and things have REALLY upgraded my friend...i cant believe people use CD's still...MP3's don't skip...oh and welcome back

  • somebody was washing dishes lol

  • What brand is that monitor?!

I have a Mac mini in my bedroom... but I'd LOVE to put it in my car.

    Always thought about it... lol.

Want to have a monitor in my trunk so when I pop it, I can play a slide show that has shit talking slides to dumbasses behind me. haha

  • Steve, I'm getting back into car audio after about 8-10 years out. What are the benefits of the computer (mini mac) as a head unit? Don't you lose a lot of sound quality compared to the high end cd units like P99 and Drz9255? What other applications can you use the computer for?

  • Let me get this straight, $600+ for a computer and all you plan to do is listen to music in your car with it?

    Lol.

  • Wait 18V out on the car power supply? Don't computers need 12V?

  • what type of screen is that? and where could i find one?
