Canards are wonderful aircraft to fly. I built mine over 15 years ago and NEVER regretted it. Very forgiving performance and superb handling. As for prop strikes, very rare if you have the right prop.

Hmmm, I never thought about that. But you could definately ruin the prop when flaring too high I would think...

the down side: prop strikes. ultra easy to wreck your engine and prop with incorrect landing technique. not much else really - pretty damn good planes. definitely different than flying a conventionally configured aircraft though.

I would love one. you could feel like you were a fighter pilot. without getting yourself killed, as the average person just isn't meant to fly a high speed jet, unless you have experience. can the person up the back see much???

Nice looking plane, Rudy.Nice finish.Did'nt realize there was another EZ in KY. Panel looks good too.Are you using an o-235 or a o-320 /360?

It's a Rolls-Royce O-240A, 130 HP. Based at KLUK.
